This is so called “orient paste”, a special opaque white performance on medium to dark ground fabric, plus its color yield can be easily obtained by less pigment dosage than traditional blended white. Orient 55D is non elastic paste especially for woven fabric and Orient 66DL is elastic paste for most kind of knitted fabric.
Specialty:
- Excellent color yield strength.
- Less pigment required to reach color depth.
- PVC, phthalate, APEO, Azo and Lead Free formulations. Meets all key international environmental standards.
- Soft finish prints.
- No harmful or distracting odors in the work place.
Guidance:
- Use 100-120 t/in mesh (40-47 t/cm)
- Ready for use, adding pigment directly to Orient Paste and print on fabric to get certain opacity with high color yield.
- Orient 55D is designed for woven or non elastic fabric and Orient 66DL is for elastic fabric.
- For medium to dark fabric, it is required at least 2 coats to achieve coverage. Dry the first print before the next print.
- To meet superior wash on Orient 55D, adding Additive Xlinker Low Cure 3-5% by weight is necessary.
Precautions:
Printing Parameters:
- Keep the screen in the flooded position while print stops. Or, go for screen wash during a temporary stop.
- Containers must maintain air-tight seal while not in use.
- During Production, heat application can be applied to speed up the process. Failure to cure ink at recommended time and temperature may result in poor wash fastness.
- Screen must be prepared with water-resist emulsion to prevent stencil breakdown.
- Any application not referred in this Product Information should be Pre-tested or consulted with Primus Technical Service Prior to Print.
